Americans abroad join with those throughout the USA to stand up to the Trump regime
On Saturday, American citizens living all over the world rallied with millions of Americans throughout the USA to stand up to the Trump regime and say “HANDS OFF” our rights, our votes, our democracy, our bodies, our pensions, and our government.
Over 1,300 HANDS OFF! peaceful protests were organized to stop the chaos being unleashed by Trump and Musk.
Democrats Abroad chapters organized demonstrations in more than 20 cities globally, including, but not limited to: Tokyo, Seoul, Pretoria, Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin, Frankfurt, Paris, Lyon, Nice, Reykjavik, Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, London, Edinburgh, Stockholm, Vienna, Ottawa and Mexico City.
Hundreds of Americans took part in these demonstrations which were covered extensively by local and international media.
“We're watching the chaos and disaster that the Trump-Musk administration is wreaking with horror. But, they do not speak for all of us and we are fighting back,” said Democrats Abroad’s International Chair Martha McDevitt-Pugh, “Democrats Abroad will continue to stand up for our values and the rights of all Americans, and be a safe, welcoming community for Americans abroad.”
