At Last! It's time to get together!
posted by Ellie Wallis | Chair, Ecuador
November 11, 2021For Democrats Abroad Ecuador, it’s finally time for us to come together. The turnout of overseas voters will be particularly critical in the midterms, and the time to start organizing is rapidly approaching.
So please join us for an opportunity to socialize with other Democrats in Cuenca, hear our plans for 2022, and be updated on news from DA Global. Safety protocols will be observed.
And the exciting news: Our 2022 calendars. featuring the winners of our photo contest, will be available for sale at the event. The money we raise will help us get out the vote in 2022!
If you are not in Cuenca and want to host an event or have information about calendars, contact us at [email protected]
For updates and further information about calendar sales, see our Facebook page at Democrats Abroad Ecuador.
Tuesday, November 16th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, Free, Fabiano’s Zona Rosa location (below Common Grounds) Gran Colombia and Unidad National, Cuenca.

Monthly Friday Casual Social
Democrats Abroad Global Seniors and Disability Caucuses invite you to join us for our monthly Social -- a time for Seniors and members of the Disability Caucus to connect with one another and discuss topics of concern and information. We will reflect, discuss, plan, and strategize together from the comfort of our own homes and with no duties or assignments! This will be fun as we can discuss freely any topic we would like.

2022 is shaping up to be a banner year for grassroots labor organizing. Workers at Amazon, Starbucks, and many others are showing us exactly what it means when we say: When we organize, we win!
Join proDA for a discussion of why a healthy democracy needs labor unions, labor organizing successes, and ongoing challenges, including what we can do to help by demanding passage of the PRO Act. ProDA representatives will provide a framework for our discussion. We will have ample opportunity to add our two cents AND plan action!
RSVP below to join with proDA to discuss how we can unite our voices for progress and win!
This event is part of the series Monthly Mondays for Progressive Minds.
