2025 EMEA Regional Meeting – Sunday, June 8

2025 EMEA REGIONAL MEETING 

The Democrats Abroad Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Regional Meeting will take place 

online on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 7:30 a.m. EDT 

as part of the Democrats Abroad Global Meeting.

The meeting link will open at 7:00 a.m. EDT.

The EMEA Regional Meeting will include short regional reports and the election of an EMEA Regional Vice Chair for the 2025–2027 term. We should be done in plenty of time for the start of the Global Meeting at 9:00 a.m. EDT. To find your local time, go to world time buddy.

Note: The EMEA Regional Meeting will have its own Webex link – different from the DA Global Meeting – please be sure to RSVP for both the Global AGM and the EMEA Regional Meeting.

Message from the 2025 Nominations and Elections Committee
According to Section 6.2 of the DPCA Charter, “Election shall be by simple majority of the votes cast by the Chairs (or Vice Chairs) of the Country Committees in the Region in attendance. Each Country Committee will be allocated two (2) votes in electing the Regional Vice Chair, to be cast respectively by the Chair or the Vice Chair. A proxy may only be issued between Chair and Vice Chair within a given Country Committee.”
