Welcome to the Granada precinct of Democrats Abroad Spain! We are a new but quickly growing community with members all over the beautiful province of Granada.
Our mission is simple:

Reach out to U.S. citizens in Granada and remind them they have the right to vote. We can help with the process whether you are new to living abroad or have been here for decades. We also reach out to exchange students who are here when elections take place, using the non-partisan platform votefromabroad.org.

Build a community of engaged Americans who want to meet like-minded individuals to chat, organize activities, carry out resistance actions, and more. We hold in-person gatherings and events in the city of Granada and plan to have events in other parts of the province as well.

Support and protect the right of US citizens living abroad to vote in US federal, state and local elections. The absentee ballots cast by Americans living overseas are important and can have a real impact on election results and thus on the shape of U.S. politics. At this point we can no longer take our right to vote for granted.
We’d love for you to join us. Whether you volunteer, attend events, or simply want to stay in the loop, your involvement helps protect democracy. With the 2026 midterm elections on the horizon, our efforts to protect democracy and progressive values are more important than ever.
