    Voting From Abroad Q&A

Do you have last-minute questions about how to vote from abroad? Are you a Democrats Abroad volunteer helping others and want to familiarize yourself with the ins-and-outs of overseas voting? Join us for a one-hour info session and Q&A that will walk you through the entire process!

Before attending the session, we recommending already trying to fill out the absentee ballot request form (FPCA) and a back-up ballot (FWAB). Instructions for both can be found at www.votefromabroad.org. Please note that many states' registration deadlines were in early and mid-October. Check your state's deadline at www.votefromabroad.org/states.

If your voting question is urgent, please write to us at info-germany@democratsabroad.org

Our goal is to reach each and every one of the 6.5 million Americans living overseas, so if you know Americans living abroad who haven't requested their ballots yet, send them our way!

    Global Voter Assistance: October 29th

Did you know every eligible American living abroad can vote in U.S. elections this year?

Do you have questions about how to vote? Click the chat bubble at the bottom of this screen and we can help you find the answers.

Join us October 29th, or any Thursday till November to speak to a volunteer LIVE on Zoom about questions you're having about voting from abroad. We'll be here from 6-10pm CEST (Paris) / 12-4pm (U.S. Eastern)

How is it done on Zoom? You'll come into the main room and be paired 1:1 with a volunteer into a breakout room to ensure privacy and that you can get all your questions answered. It couldn't be easier.

More information: The easiest way to request your ballot is at VoteFromAbroad.org. It takes just a few minutes to complete and send in your form to the US state where you last lived. The website will guide you step by step. In most cases it’s pretty simple. But if you’re new to voting abroad, or if you haven’t done it in a while, you may have additional questions. That’s why we’ll be here every Sunday until election day to help.

If you can’t make it, you can always email us at helpdesk@votefromabroad.org or send in your question through our online help bubble, and a volunteer will get back to you.
