Voter turnout in 2022 will be critical to maintaining our majorities in the House and Senate. There are also many critical Governors races at stake. It’s time to get involved!
All members who are able are encouraged to attend.
There will be food and drink available, as well an important election of Officers to replace vacancies on the Democrats Abroad Ecuador’s Executive Committee. And, as a special treat, Linda Chase will be our M.C. for a political trivia contest.
To vote in this election, you must be a Member of Democrats Abroad Ecuador no later than April 9th if you intend to vote via e-mailed absentee ballot or if you intend to vote in person. To join Democrats Abroad, visit www.DemocratsAbroad.org/join
We are voting on the following positions: Ecuador Country Chair (to fill the vacancy left by our former Chair who moved to Mexico), and Country Vice Chair. We also have openings for 2 At-Large positions. If you would like to nominate either yourself or someone else, please let us know no later than April 11th. Nominations close at midnight Sunday April 14th, 2022.
A ballot will be emailed to you on April 19th. If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to vote, you must email your ballot back to us by April 26th.
