A Message to Florida Voters

Florida Democrats are more engaged than ever. Democrats have won five special elections in a row, flipping seats in every corner of the state. This past August we had the highest primary turnout since 1978 and just last week we announced that our volunteers have contacted 8,000,000 voters this year!

We are well on our way to flipping Florida blue -- and setting ourselves up to save our state and our country from the divisive rhetoric of Donald Trump and his biggest supporters Governor Rick Scott and Rep. Ron DeSantis. Re-electing Bill Nelson (Twitter, Facebook) will be key for Democrats to reclaim a majority in the Senate. We have the chance to make history in Florida, to elect the first African American to the Governor's mansion, Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum (Twitter, Facebook), the first woman to serve as Commissioner of Agriculture, Nikki Fried (Facebook), and take back our state with quality Democrats from the school board to the Senate, but YOU have to vote.

Even if you've voted in the past, you have to sign up again to have your ballot sent to you. It's easy and all you have to do is visit votefromabroad.org fill out the form and send it in.

Thank you!  With the past 4 statewide elections decided by an average of 80,000 votes -- YOUR vote could make all the difference. If you have any questions about voting please email the Voter Help Desk at [email protected].

Terrie Rizzo
Chairwoman, Florida Democratic Party
