They said it couldn’t be done… but our Democrats Abroad UK Phonebanking Team HAS DONE IT! They made 14,707 calls to Americans living in the UK to help them request their 2026 voting ballots.

Now it’s time to celebrate all our hardworking volunteers. Whether you phonebanked once, phonebanked repeatedly, or have never phonebanked - this invitation is for you!

To our 43 phonebankers who joined us in the first half of 2026: we are so grateful. We know what it takes to pick up the phone, dial a stranger, and inform them how to vote from abroad - and we are so appreciative of your work.

You made a real difference, and some very special people want to tell you so.

Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi was so moved by what you accomplished that she recorded a personal video message for this celebration. Jessica Craven - beloved podcaster and author of the Chop Wood Carry Water newsletter - jumped at the chance to be there to thank you herself and others will be joining us to celebrate your volunteer efforts.
