Freya Proudman

UK Secretary

Freya Proudman is the Secretary of Democrats Abroad UK (DAUK) for the 2025–2027 term. Originally from Massachusetts, she moved to London to pursue her university studies and is currently a PhD student at University College London.

Freya became involved with Democrats Abroad in 2022 through the Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Team, supporting voter registration drives, particularly on university campuses. Since then, she has served on the DAUK Youth Caucus Steering Committee and currently co-chairs the DAUK LGBTQ+ Caucus. In 2025, Freya was elected to the DAUK Executive Committee and subsequently appointed Secretary. She also serves as a DPCA Voting Representative for the UK.
