Democrats Abroad Sevilla honored Black History Month with a walking tour of Sevilla in conjunction with the Asociación Sevilla Negra. The tour, given by a Democrats Abroad Sevilla member, provided valuable insight into the overlooked and often distorted history of the Black population in Sevilla, which reached as high as 10% of the population in the 15th and 16th Centuries. Only by learning from the past can we seek a better future.
