DEMOCRATS ABROAD BC MAINLAND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Mark your calendar! The Democrats Abroad BC Mainland Chapter will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 6:30 PM PST. This year’s AGM will be a hybrid event. Join us in person at The Pleasant in Vancouver or online via Zoom for accessibility.

Why Attend?

At the AGM, we’ll:

Vote on proposed bylaw changes to support our growing chapter.
Elect new leaders for the 2025-2027 term.
Discuss community-building and mobilization ahead of the 2026 midterms.
Celebrate our achievements and plan for the work ahead.

- Revised Bylaws for Member Approval
  - Our chapter name and bylaws were updated in 2024. These updates address any missed or refined items from the 2024 bylaw revision.
Election of 2025-2027 BC Mainland Chapter Officers

How to Attend

In Person (max capacity of 45 attendees)

Location: The Pleasant, 2434 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5T 3E2
Time: Social time begins at 6:00 PM PST, followed by the official meeting at 6:30 PM PST.
Capacity: Attendance is limited to 45 people, so RSVP early to secure your spot.

For in-person attendees, stay after the official business concludes to socialize with fellow members at The Pleasant. The Zoom session will end once the formal meeting adjourns.

Online via Zoom (max capacity of 100 attendees)

Key Dates:

February 18, 2025: Electronic ballots distributed (includes proposed bylaw amendment).
March 10, 2025: Voting closes at 11:59 PM PST.
March 11, 2025: Annual General Meeting (AGM)
