Day of International Friendship at Playas de Tijuana

Join us and many grass roots groups at Playas de Tijuana for this event that is happening in cities across North America and locations along the US-Canada and US-Mexico borders including Tijuana, and various locations across California and Arizona.

This Playas de Tijuana event is a volunteer-organized community event promoted by Friends Across Borders and the Friends of Friendship Park. VoteFromAbroad is participating by providing absentee voter information and awareness to US and bi-national citizens--visit our table from 1 - 4 PM. But do come early and enjoy all the festivities from 11 AM - 6 PM.

The event aims to celebrate and affirm the values of peace, friendship, decency, and respect with people across borders, particularly between the US, Canada, and Mexico. Come to this event  on the Mexican side of Friendship Park and show your support for these values that have no boundaries.

Friends of Friendship Park will do an artistic intervention in the morning at 11a. Don't miss it! And then start the festival with an opening Kumeyaay blessing at noon followed by stands and interactive activities from different local grassroots organizations. There will be music and workshops and food. Free to the public! Bring the whole family!
