Ballots by: September 21

If you filed an FPCA but haven’t received your ballot by September 21, contact us or your Local Election Official (LEO) via VoteFromAbroad.org. If you no longer have the contact information for your local election official, you can go to VoteFromAbroad.org. The contact information is at “Your State Rules” (scroll down to “Find Your Election Office”).

Ballot Return Options

  • Electronic: If available, returning your ballot email/online or via fax is highly recommended.
  • FAX: Use a service like FaxZero.com to send your ballot if you don’t have fax access.
Alternatively, voters can utilize a scan/email-to-fax service provided by the U.S government. You can email a scanned ballot to [email protected].  You must use the fax cover sheet included with your ballot materials or the one found here: https://www.fvap.gov/uploads/FVAP/Forms/TransmissionCoversheet.pdf
FVAP will convert your ballot into a fax and send it to the number you specify.  FVAP can get overloaded closer to Election Day, so we recommend that you use that service only up to October 30.
  • US Postal Mail: You can:
    • Use US mail services (priority/expedited options recommended but don’t ask for signature).
    • Use DHL or express couriers (use street address only; receipt and date/time stamp recommended). **Please call your local election official to get the address for courier packages, and ask if needed will someone sign for the envelope.**
    • Drop it in a US mailbox if traveling, but verify with your LEO that mailing from the US is acceptable. Be aware of state-specific rules on third-party ballot handling.

For any questions, feel free to reach out to us at one of the phone numbers or email addresses above.

We are thrilled you’ve stopped by!

Watch this space for announcements of meetings and events.

If you have questions or want to help with Democrats Abroad in Baja, we'd love to hear from you!
