Leg-Up on the 2028 Presidential Field

A week or so before this weekend's DNC meeting, the Rules and Bylaw Committee announced the 2028 Primary Schedule, aka Who's on First?

Shortly after, The Whisper Campaign, Laura Rodriguez-Carbone's substack, described how the traditional DNC decision-making structure will winnow down a field of some 20 likely hopefuls. This is just Rodriguez-Carbone's guess based on past DNC m.o. But it's a compelling look at filters that may prescribe the final ticket.

So, two things to watch: 

• the DNC news coming out of this weekend (website, nat'l media, and pundits galore)
• The Whisper Campaign AND The Angry Democrat podcast that Rodriguez-Carbone co-hosts with fellow Ohioan who 'once ran for the OH-07' Matt Diemer. Both are canny and battle-tested, having lost to the big $$ that backed Max Miller for the 07. May we say "Told ya so!"?
