DAGR VP Debate Watch
The candidates for Vice President will debate this Wednesday at 4 am Athens time.
We'll be getting together at the Hard Rock Cafe in Monastiraki a few hours later, at 7:00 pm, to watch them without the commercial breaks. We’re optimistic that this debate will make abundantly clear the huge difference between Gov. Tim Walz, a ‘real down-to-earth guy’, and Trump's current Yale Law School henchman.
As someone recently pointed out, Walz’s claims to success rest, not on him, but on his ‘products.’ As a teacher, it was the students he inspired. As a coach, it was winning teams. As a National Guard officer, it was his troops. And we’d add, as a governor, it’s been his state, Minnesota, as a beacon for how to get things done.
Up against Walz, we have Vance, the junior senator from Ohio, who had one good moment a few years back, when he made clear his opinion that Trump was totally unfit to run the USA. Now he takes pride in copying DJT's defects.
