Springfield Haitians Ordered to Appear

The call has gone out via the Central Ohio Community Response Hub, re action needed tomorrow and next Sunday at the ICE office in Cincinnati.

Haitians in Springfield have received notices to appear this Sunday at the ICE office in Blue Ash, for "check-ins." This could be an emergency for the Haitian community--and they need those of us with citizenship or status to show up this Sunday and next Sunday at 7am in Blue Ash, so that ICE will know...

We see you--and we refuse to look away.

This is the notice Springfield folks have been fearing for over a month now. It's interesting that ICE ordered the appearances on Sunday. Early. It's hard to tell if they hoped supporters would either be in bed or in church.  In any case, the matter moves ahead.
