DA Progressive Caucus is lining up candidates to promote!

Getting ready for 'the big one' in November, ProDA is gathering candidates worth watching. Congressional Progressive Caucus already has put dibs on a few. But there may be others, in less 'above the radar' races that they may want to keep an eye on. And help!

I just put in for an young man in an Ohio congressional district who's both above and below the radar, depending on which 'screen' you're watching. His district is rated as 'leans red.' And Blue Voter Guide, one of our go-to references, has only one endorsement listed for him. (Okay, Blue Voter is all-volunteer, too; might need some help!) But, the dance card on his own website is filling in. Nicely. We're talking a dozen large unions, county Dem parties, several progressive issues orgs, and more!

After filling in the info in the ProDA form, I sent off a note to Blue Voter Guide to raise their antennae!

Here's the thing. Even at this early stage, while primary ballots are still wending their way toward local BOEs, there are some excellent candidates out there. Just folks; solid, uplifting background experiences and credentials; down-to-earth appeal. They often go under the radar, especially if they're running in a race that usually goes to the GOP. And yet, they just might make it!

So, if you know one of these 'diamonds in the rough,' or just a good progressive you could vouch for, let ProDA know!
