Ohio National Guard identifies 3 airmen killed in Iraq plane crash
The Ohio National Guard has released the identities of the three Ohioans who died on a refueling plane after a March 12 mid-air collision over Iraq. The deceased were identified as Capt. Seth Koval, Capt. Curtis Angst and Tech. Sgt. Tyler Simmons. All three Ohioans were members of the 121st Air Refueling Wing based in Columbus. Three other Americans also died when their KC-135 refueling tanker aircraft crashed following a mid-air collision over western Iraq.
