DA France Diversity Caucus Election 2025

Our 2025 election will take place on Saturday, March 15 from 1 - 2 pm, online via Zoom. The election is a time for the group to come together, elect our new caucus leadership and gather our forces for the future.

Please RSVP by March 14, 2025 at 10pm to be registered to vote at this meeting. A Zoom link will be provided to those who RSVP.

Take the opportunity to engage the community of Americans in France on issues that are important to you! Have an impact on an organization making a difference around the globe!

Democrats Abroad France is a 100% volunteer-run organization, and we elect our leaders every two years for a two-year term. We organize social and political activities that promote our Democratic ideals and values, and encourage the American community to exercise their right to vote. 

The Diversity Caucus brings together members of the Global Black, Hispanic, and AAPI caucuses and Native American and Middle East North African constituency groups, seeking to engage, educate and enlighten our wider community. We do that primarily through social, political and cultural events focused on issues relevant to people of color and their allies — including happy hours, movie screenings, panel discussions, museum tours, concerts, commemorative events, and more. We encourage political engagement with our elected officials back home and exercising the right to vote from abroad.

We are seeking two co-chairs, one male and one female to lead the caucus with a term ending in March 2027. 

The Co-Chairs work as a team and are responsible for:

• Event planning, coordination and logistics
• Communications (email, social media content, moderation and member screening)
• Management and coordination of the Steering Committee and other volunteers
• Representation on the National Executive Committee
• Coordination with Global Caucuses (AAPI, Black, Hispanic)

If you are interested in running (or would like to nominate someone to run) for co-chair please submit your name (or theirs), candidate statement (200 words max) and optional picture by February 28th. 

All candidates must be members of Democrats Abroad and the Diversity Caucus. If you are not a member and you would like to join Democrats abroad go to www.democratsabroad.org and sign up.
