You’ve worked hard to help every Democrat abroad get their ballot in. Now it’s time to help Democrats back home!

This week, please reach out to your friends and family in the U.S. (especially in California, Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania), and make sure they have a plan to vote by next Tuesday. Ask them when, where, and how they’ll cast their ballot, and remind them that every single vote matters.

Why our votes matter

Governor and Attorney General races in Virginia and New Jersey
Democratic governors and attorneys general are our first line of defense for reproductive rights, voting rights, and the rule of law. They’re successfully suing to protect their constituents’ SNAP benefits, and pushing back against unlawful federal usage of the national guard. Representative Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey and former Representative Abigail Spanberger of Virginia are running for Governor in their states and need our support. Voting YES down ballot for all Democratic candidates at the state level is fundamental to protecting voting.  

California’s Proposition 50
Proposition 50: The Election Rigging Response Act is a measured, careful, and temporary redistricting that neutralizes Trump's efforts to rig the 2026 elections via Texas. 

Pennsylvania Supreme Court races
Control of the state supreme courts is central to ensuring fair elections. That’s why a YES to retain Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht on the PA State Supreme Court is vital. They’re pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ and pro-democracy. Other key races are Stella Tsai and Michael Wojcik for Commonwealth Court and Brandon P. Neuman and Alice Dubow for Superior Court.

Call or message friends and family back home.
Check that they know where their polling place is and that they have a plan to vote early or on Election Day.
