Activism Apéro - Hands Off Our Liberty!

 

Join Indivisible France, Democrats Abroad France - Paris Chapter, Paris Against Trump, and Our Revolution France for this event at the Statue of Liberty in the Luxembourg Gardens.

The descent into full-throttle American fascism is uniting Americans against Trump. This week, he has refused to obey an order from the US Supreme Court to restitute Kilmar Abrego Garcia to American soil and has asked President Bukele to build five more prisons in order to detain "homegrowns"–i.e., American citizens. In solidarity with our American friends, brothers, sisters, we are uniting on Saturday, April 19, around a hallowed French pastime–l'apéro.

The purpose of this apéro is to bring us together in communion while the Statue of Liberty at Jardin Luxembourg reminds us of our deeply held values. Congregate with the community–commiserate, vent, brainstorm.

All are welcome, French, American, other. We will provide a small base of apéro, feel free to bring a snack for just you or to share. Space is limited to 25.
