Shasti Conrad

Shasti Conrad is a Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee and Chair of the Washington State Democrats. When elected state party chair in 2023, she became the youngest state Democratic Party chair in the country and the first woman of color to lead the Washington State Democrats.

A longtime Democratic organizer and strategist, Conrad has worked on campaigns at the local, state, and national levels. Her experience includes organizing for President Barack Obama, serving as a national surrogate and AAPI outreach director for Senator Bernie Sanders’ 2020 presidential campaign, and helping elect progressive leaders across Washington State. She is committed to building a Democratic Party that organizes year-round, develops the next generation of leaders, and reaches voters in every community.

Malcolm Kenyatta
