    "Global Climate Strike" Lunch

    Take off for lunch to hear what we can do to end the climate change crisis at this first "Zero Impact" pizzeria!  The pizzeria uses renewable energy, smart ovens w/o carbon dioxide emissions, and plants a tree for every pizza ordered w/Eden Reforestation Projects! (Even home deliveries are done by electric scooters!). The pizza is made with whole-grain stone-ground bio flour, 48-hour natural rising, bio and seasonal local toppings,  Be a part of it! 

      

    20.00 Euros includes a Bio finger-food tasting (polenta e zola, polenta e speck, mini mozzarelle in carrozza, veggi burger, filettini di pollo croccante e pepperoni ripieni al formaggio), pizza tasting (with at least 5 o 6 different types of white-based and red-based pizza), dessert & beverages.

    With 15 people, the place is all ours and the menu more diverse with additional tasting. 

    With 16+ people: additional salamis with focaccia, house herb stracciatella e house focaccia with nutella e pistacchios.

    WHAT: 5:30 pm Aperitivo at the Todo Modo Café (each member's contribution for the use of their space)

                6:00 pm Screening of a recorded version of the 3rd debate with discussion

    Join the "Solidarity March"- to MAKE your voice heard and HOLD your politicians and candidates accountable!! Americans will march to demand accountability from our elected officials.

    We the People are marching to be seen and heard. We are marching to remind our elected officials that they work for us. We are marching because the current regime is a threat to our democracy and values. We are marching to demand accountability. Silence and inaction are complicity.


    There's political upheaval and discontent from the U.S. to Hong Kong, the U.K. to Italy. What are your top issues and priorities? Create your own poster at our pre-march brunch/lunch poster-making meetup!     WELCOME BACK BARBEQUE & POTLUCK PICNIC

    Come for our last outdoor barbeque and picnic of the year in our very own private garden- with our Culinary Club's food challenge! We'll have a ballot box for the "Best Barbeque" (it can be anything- ribs, chicken, etc.) and the "Best Salad" (rice, potato, pasta, bean, mixed, fruit, whatever!)

    Our gorgeous spacious venue has plenty of privacy, shade, sports area, peace, and a large grape roof overhead. Garden games, bikes, frisbees, guitars, children welcome!

    Free Parking in Via Romolo, from there turn right, Via Crollalanza and go 50 meters to the park entrance. 

    Cost: 5 euro & a potluck dish. Bar-b-ques and grills are welcome and allowed!

    One of the takeaways from our membership survey in June was to hold events outside of Milan to engage Democrats throughout Northern Italy.  We are pleased to announce our first event in Venice!  On the recommendation of one of our members, and long-time Venetian resident, we are organizing a Sunday Brunch at Osteria La Bottega ai Promessi.  This authentic restaurant is a favourite of locals, with great food at reasonable prices (20-30 EUR).

    Come find out how you can contribute to achieving our goals of engaging and registering every American in the Veneto region with enjoyable campaign events for winning the 2020 election!
