Power is where power goes: LBJ
Through a series of flashbacks, the film follows LBJ’s career from 1959 – 1963 – his time in Congress, as Vice President, to the assassination of JFK and his swearing in as President on Air Force One. It then focuses almost entirely on the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. It is not a biopic of Johnson’s life, nor of his entire Presidency, but provides insight into his personal and political struggles. 2017, 1hr 36min, Rated R.
