Melissa lives with her family in St. Gallen, Switzerland. When she’s not on long dog walks, she  teaches English to adults at the Migros Klubschule and offers private life-coaching. Originally from  the Chicago area, her work with people is rooted in her background in interpersonal communication,  conflict resolution, and painting. 

Having spent more than half her life in Switzerland, Melissa returns every summer to recharge and  reconnect with family and friends on both sides of the lake—in Chicago and Michigan—where  breakfast table discussions often revolve around analyzing the latest political developments. “I’m  excited to take a more active role in Democrats Abroad at this undeniably disconcerting time.”
