Political Wine on Nov 4 in Nice! Day after Mid-Term Elections!

 

Join your fellow Democrats Abroad on Wednesday, November 4 as we come together to support one another while the election results roll in. Some results will, of course, be preliminary, but fingers crossed that we'll be witnessing the start of the 2026 Blue Tsunami.

 

 

There’s no formal meeting tonight, just an opportunity to be with like-minded people and strengthen our sense of community. We’ll be watching the results on the big-screen TV at Le Napoléon, and we’ll also connect live with three Democrats Abroad Riviera "correspondents" who are in the United States and will bring us firsthand reports from their local districts.

 

At some point during the evening, we’ll be raising a glass of bubbly, regardless of the results. Our chapter has been relentless throughout this election cycle, reaching out to Americans far and wide to help ensure that every eligible voter has the opportunity to cast a ballot.  Our chapter has grown stronger, and with so many new members and renewed energy, we are already building momentum for 2028.  That is something to celebrate!

 

We hope you'll join us for an evening of camaraderie, community, and shared commitment to the future.

 

We’ll meet at 6 pm at Le Napoléon Brasserie, located at 6 Place Garibaldi 06300 (near the Naturalia store).  Le Napoléon can be easily accessed by Tram 1 (stop: Garibaldi) and Tram 2 (stop: Garibaldi Le Chateau).

 

If you would like to bring a non-member as a guest, please RSVP for yourself and your guest.  A 5€ donation per person, payable at the door, is the price of admission. This small donation enables us to cover local event and administrative costs at the chapter level to sustain and amplify our “fight" throughout each election cycle. As always, there will be a cash bar and food available for purchase.
