    Honoring U.S. Engagement in World War 1

    There is an exhibition of photographs made by the Patrouille de France in 2017, which by documenting current US and French military cooperation hopes to honor the US engagement in WWI.

    This free exhibition at the Maison du Combattant at 36 bis Blvd Risso, NICE will run from 27 to 31 May from 14h00 to 17h30 each day.

    The exhibition is sponsored by the US Ambassador to France, the Association France Etats-Unis, and the Ville de Nice. The Maison du Combattant is located facing the Acropolis.

    Rhône American Cemetery in Draguignan, France

    Memorial Day Celebration at Rhône American Cemetery

    The DAF - Riviera Chapter invites their members and guests to participate in the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Rhone American Cemetery in Draguignan.  You can view the full details on the Rhone American Cemetery web site.

    In particular, The DAF - Riviera Chapter proudly sponsors a wreath to be laid on an unknown solider's tomb for this ceremony. This Rhone American Cemetery event is open to the public, however DAF - Riviera does not organize any transportation.

    This distinguished ceremony honors those that have served both our country and France as well as celebrate the bond between France and the United States over the years.

    Political Wine in June

    This social event is open to all our members, Americans and accompanying guests.  We welcome you all to come and interact with fellow Americans in the region and engage in American political discussions.  We will give a brief presentation particularly where these issues stand in the Washington political discourse.  Join us to formalize our viewpoint as Americans living abroad by paying (€5) includes drinks, such as wine and water.
