Join your fellow Democrats Abroad on Wednesday, October 7, as we remain laser-focused on the midterm elections, less than a month away when we meet!
As always, we'll begin with time to reconnect and share what's on our minds, taking a few moments to listen, support one another, and strengthen the sense of community that keeps us moving forward. Several members will also reflect on the remarkable evening we recently spent with DNC Chair Ken Martin.
Next, a Riviera member will share his experience with the Activism from Abroad program and how it has enabled him to make a meaningful impact from overseas. You may even find some inspiration to get involved yourself.
Ballots were sent out on September 19, and Democrats Abroad chapters across France are buzzing with questions about the various methods for returning them. Our GOTV Officer and the rest of the ExCom will be on hand to answer your questions, clear up any confusion, and help ensure your vote is received and counted.
Don’t worry if you’re new to our Political Wine - you’re welcome to join us! Bring your questions, your energy, and your perspective, there’s a place for everyone at the table.
We’ll meet at 6 pm at Le Napoléon Brasserie, located at 6 Place Garibaldi 06300 (near the Naturalia store). Le Napoléon can be easily accessed by Tram 1 (stop: Garibaldi) and Tram 2 (stop: Garibaldi Le Chateau).
If you would like to bring a non-member as a guest, please RSVP for yourself and your guest. A 5€ donation per person, payable at the door, is the price of admission. This small donation enables us to cover local event and administrative costs at the chapter level to sustain and amplify our “fight" throughout each election cycle. As always, there will be a cash bar and food available for purchase.
