Political Wine on Sept 2 in Nice!

Welcome back!

 

While we still have a few weeks of the oh-so-French summer break to enjoy, it's not too early to start looking ahead to September and the months leading up to the 2026 midterm elections.

 

Join your fellow Democrats Abroad on Wednesday, September 2, as we begin organizing for victory in 2026!

 

As always, we'll start with some time to reconnect and share what's on our minds. A lot has happened since we last met, so let's take a few moments to listen, support one another, and strengthen the sense of community that keeps us going.

 

We'll then turn our attention to the critical Get Out the Vote work ahead. Voters who registered through VoteFromAbroad.org will begin receiving their ballots on September 19, which means the election season will be in full swing before we know it. We can't afford to let up as Election Day approaches.

 

There are plenty of ways for everyone to get involved, whether through voter outreach, postcard campaigns, phone banking, or contacting Democrats Abroad members in France and around the world. Every conversation, every postcard, and every volunteer effort helps bring us one step closer to success. We hope you'll join us as we build momentum and prepare for the work ahead!

 

Don’t worry if you’re new to our Political Wine - you’re welcome to join us!  Bring your questions, your energy, and your perspective, there’s a place for everyone at the table. 

 

We’ll meet at 6 pm at Le Napoléon Brasserie, located at 6 Place Garibaldi 06300 (near the Naturalia store).  Le Napoléon can be easily accessed by Tram 1 (stop: Garibaldi) and Tram 2 (stop: Garibaldi Le Chateau).

 

If you would like to bring a non-member as a guest, please RSVP for yourself and your guest.  A 5€ donation per person, payable at the door, is the price of admission. This small donation enables us to cover local event and administrative costs at the chapter level to sustain and amplify our “fight" throughout each election cycle. As always, there will be a cash bar and food available for purchase.
