Join us with ID.me to learn how to set up your ID.me account that will allow you to gain access to your online IRS and Social Security accounts. This event will take place online using Zoom.
Topics discussed will include:
- Documents required to verify identity at set up
- What to do if you have trouble setting it up
- How to use the ID.me account
This webinar is for all Americans abroad, young and old, dual citizens, and expats!
Once your online IRS account is set up, you can:
- Access your tax records
- Make and view payments
- Go paperless for certain notices
- Get email notifications for new account information or activity
And with an online Social Security account you can:
- request a replacement Social Security card
- check the status of an application
- estimate future benefits
- manage the benefits you already receive
