Demand Public Hearings on the Epstein Files

During a House appearance this week, Attorney General Pam Bondi dismissed serious concerns about the Department of Justice’s handling of the Epstein files, refused to apologize to victims whose names were left unredacted, and callously defended decisions that further exposed survivors to harm.

Her testimony at the House judiciary committee hearing was not just evasive, it was a stark reminder of how the current administration and its institutions continue to protect the powerful while failing those who were abused.

Under AG Bondi's leadership, the Department of Justice is deliberately revealing victims while redacting names of the powerful. Its leaders are limiting access to the files, and lying under oath. They must answer for how they have handled this case, and Congress has a duty to demand transparency, accountability, and compliance with the law.

Congress needs to hear from us now.

Why This Matters

Survivors deserve justice, not secrecy, deflection, or indifference.

At the House hearing, Epstein survivors sat directly behind Attorney General Pam Bondi as lawmakers raised serious concerns about the Department of Justice’s handling of the Epstein files, including failure to properly redact victims’ names and the release of highly sensitive material involving survivors whose identities had been protected for decades. When asked to apologize, Bondi dismissed the questioning as “theatrics” and refused.

Survivors later reported that the DOJ has not returned their calls or emails and that they feel pressured into silence rather than supported. These concerns are bipartisan: lawmakers from both parties pressed Bondi on who ordered improper redactions, why powerful names were shielded, and whether anyone will be held accountable.

Fragmented hearings and closed-door reviews have failed. Without full, public congressional hearings, the truth will remain buried and accountability will remain optional.

Call Script

Hello, my name is [YOUR NAME], and I’m a constituent voting in [CITY/STATE].

I’m calling to urge [Representative/Senator NAME] to demand public congressional hearings on the Epstein files and to hold the Department of Justice accountable for how this case has been handled.

The DOJ has failed to properly protect survivors, ignored their outreach, and resisted transparency even after Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Attorney General Pam Bondi’s recent testimony only reinforced the need for oversight.

Please push for public hearings, full release of the files as required by law, and real accountability at the Department of Justice.

Thank you.
