Beto O'Rourke Live in Berlin *Updated Start Time!*

Join former United States Congressman, former presidential candidate and Democrats Abroad special guest Beto O'Rourke for an in-person town hall meeting in Berlin.

During this political conversation, Beto will discuss what's happening in the United States, how it's impacting the world, and what we can all do about it. As the leader of Texas' largest voter registration and voter mobilization organization, he will also speak about democracy, voting rights, and organizing for what you believe in. There will be plenty of time for audience questions; if you would like to submit a question prior to the event, please fill out and send in this form. Additional questions from the floor will be taken as time permits.

Beto is the founder of Powered by People, a voter registration and mobilization group that works to expand democracy through voter registration and direct voter engagement. Composed of thousands of volunteers in every region of Texas, Powered by People has run the largest progressive voter mobilization effort in the state’s history while registering hundreds of thousands of Texans to vote.

More about Beto:
Beto O’Rourke is a fourth-generation Texan who has served his community as a small business owner, a city council representative, and a member of the United States Congress. While representing El Paso in the U.S. House from 2013-2019, he served on the Veterans' Affairs Committee, the Armed Services Committee, and the Homeland Security Committee.

In 2018, Beto ran a historic grassroots campaign for United States Senate — breaking voter turnout records and increasing young voter turnout by 500%, helping to flip more than a dozen state legislative seats from red to blue, and becoming the closest Democrat to winning statewide office in more than 30 years. He did this while rejecting all PAC money and visiting each one of the 254 counties of Texas.

In 2019, Beto founded Powered by People. Beto is married to Amy O’Rourke, and they are raising Ulysses, Molly, and Henry in El Paso.
