🛑 STAND UP: SAY NO TO MILITARIZED POLICING
The Trump administration is once again abusing the powers of the presidency by deploying the National Guard and U.S. military in Los Angeles, escalating what should be protected protest into scenes of intimidation and fear. This is a grotesque violation of the Posse Comitatus Act and a dangerous precedent for authoritarian control.
Even more alarming, reports continue to surface of unlawful detentions. People are being held without charges, denied legal counsel, and effectively disappeared for hours or even days. This is unconstitutional and must not go unanswered.
