Let us never lose sight of what civic engagement and the city shows us: the people have the power. #GWCScavengerHunt brings that story to life through Milan’s historic past. You'll move through the city solving clues, completing challenges, and uncovering the stories of the people who refused to comply — and won. Join fellow Americans abroad who believe that staying out of politics is a luxury democracy cannot afford.
It's fun. It's historic. It's Milan. And it ends with your 2026 ballot requested and three Americans living here who know you mean business.
Why? Because showing up means participating
Democrats Abroad Global Women’s Caucus (and CC) are organizing this event to galvanize US citizens to register to vote in the upcoming elections. Our goal is to encourage you to: (i) celebrate the cultural and historic heritage of your resident city and (ii) create video or photographic content which will be used on our social media channels, to encourage your fellow Americans to register to vote and request their 2026 ballot. The usage may include DA social media posts, marketing, and other purposes, including posts that specifically promote Democratic candidates and the Democratic Party. We will not include any content that includes videos or photographs of any minors, or will block out those images.
