Memorial Day Commemoration will now be a virtual event on May 25, 2020.
In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the health and safety of their staff and visitors per U.S. and host-nation guidelines, the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) has cancelled all public Memorial Day ceremonies at their 26 cemeteries around the world.
While ABMC sites remain closed and all public ceremonies are canceled, to fulfill their sacred mission, ABMC will commemorate Memorial Day virtually with ceremonies that will be available for viewing through the agency’s social media platforms on May 25, 2020.

Last year we joined the Luxembourg Democrats Abroad to celebrate Memorial Day in Luxembourg along with the Wiesbaden-Mainz Chapter. It was a very moving ceremony at the Luxembourg American Cemetery.
