(UNTITLED) I am an American living abroad Studying and living in Florence, Italy My voice is my vote My vote follows me across the ocean, Where they may not speak my language, But they know of my country, of my politics, of my "leader" My vote matters, Whether a ballot in New York, Or a ballot in Florence. Because my vote is my voice No matter what happened No matter who won No matter who lost My vote still matters. My voice is heard, My voice is my vote.
