Seth David Radwell is the author of American Schism: How the Two Enlightenments Hold the Secret to Healing Our Nation, winner of the 2022 International Book Award for Best General Nonfiction. As a guest speaker on US television and radio, he advocates a different approach to the growing crisis threatening our present democratic forms of government. The book has been praised across the political divide and has been a #1 Amazon Bestseller in Politics and Government.

His great concerns include the notion that our civic debate has collapsed to such a degree that we risk not being able to hand a democratic society to our children.  Too many citizens within the “Frustrated Majority” have remained too long with their heads in the sand for fear of bringing on the wrath of extreme voices, even though these same citizens recognize all too well that our political dialogue is no longer productive.

For Seth, the answers lie in our history — “history can act as a salve for our wounds, if only we would apply it.… I firmly believe our democracy is in crisis today—and will remain so as long as we allow the extreme ends of the partisan spectrum to dominate our political debate.”

He has broad experience, from being the CEO of a leading skincare company, to heading the digital arm of a global children’s publishing and education conglomerate, to becoming a historian and author with great knowledge of French-US historical linkages. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University and a B.A. from Columbia University.

His book will be available for purchase and signed by the author (if you would like to purchase a book please bring 25€ in cash).
