Welcome to the DA Spain Women's Caucus blog. We have created this space to share news, events, and ideas within the community of our members in Spain who wish to promote gender equality and empowerment of women around the world.

Our mission is to support, educate and enlighten our community with social, political and cultural events, specifically concerning women. As well as focusing on important “women’s issues” such as reproductive freedom and the Equal Rights Amendment, there are many other issues that affect the daily lives of all of us, such as healthcare, economics, climate, civil rights and gender equality. These are of parallel importance. Women care about all of it! 

Our DA Spain Women’s Caucus has only been established since 2021. In the short time that we have existed we have run popular webinar series, such as ‘Living in Spain’ as well as supporting and co-sponsoring GOTV initiatives and other events. We hope to engage, empower and motivate our members and the larger community of Americans in Spain to exercise their right to vote from abroad.

In addition to our Spain-based activities, we interact on a global level with the Global Women’s Caucus, sharing events and being part of the Global Women’s Caucus steering committee. When you join the Global Caucus you will automatically join the Spain Women’s Caucus.
