In 2024, Democrats Abroad France created a Black Caucus to bring our community together to address the legislative issues that negatively impact African Americans and communities of color in the United States. The caucus hosts events to reach the African American community in France.
Meet our Interim Co-Chairs
Fay Hutchinson
Fay Hutchinson is a STEM Education Specialist for the American School in Paris (ASP), responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of ASP’s STEM educational program. Ms. Hutchinson is a certified NASA Endeavor STEM Fellow with over 25 years STEM teaching experience at ASP. She serves as a member of the ID department and is a student advisor; STEM and Multimedia teacher and STEM liaison and facilitator for the Brown University Women in Engineering pre-college program at ASP.
Shelley Bradford Bell
Shelley Bradford Bell is founder and CEO of 3FIVE55 Communications LLC, a consulting, coaching, and publishing business and publishing company. Shelley founded 3FIVE55 after 38 years of creating marketing campaigns, and providing consulting services to corporations, nonprofits, and C-suite clients, for her company SBB Communications.
We must be registered to vote, informed on the issues, and voices in our communities to defend equality, opportunity and justice in the U.S.
