The Democrats Abroad Global Youth Caucus is made up of Democrats Abroad members from around the world who are willing and able to advocate on issues important to young Americans within the United States of America and those living abroad. The Caucus will accept any member of Democrats Abroad.

Purpose

The purpose of the DA Global Youth Caucus (GYC) is to (1) provide Americans abroad a Democratic voice in our government and elect Democratic candidates by mobilizing the overseas vote, (2) provide a forum for all DA members to better understand the issues and concerns affecting young Americans and the future of our planet, (3) help engage with young Americans living abroad and ensure that their needs are met within the DA community, and (4) where needed, to advocate for political reforms on issues salient to young Americans.

Mission Statement

• To support and defend the U.S. Constitution and the goals and ideals of the Democratic Party and Democrats Abroad
• To advocate on issues of concern to the U.S. youth vote
• To be a voice for young Americans living abroad
• To support campaigns of young nominees running for elected office in the U.S.
