Candidate statement:
I am an extremely hard working, dedicated, life long democrat. I have been living in The Netherlands for 5 years. During my time in Democrats Abroad I have been on the board of The Netherlands country committee as Member-At-Large and now I am Democratic Party Committee Abroad (DPCA) Voting Representative. I have also been on the steering committee for the LGBTQ+ Caucus. I am also now on the Voter Assistance team, directly helping voters to register, request, and return their ballots. I have also recently joined the Voter Protection team where we help voters with the extremely challenging cases especially when their vote is being stifled as a direct result of voter suppression. Important issues to me are the environment, gun safety and regulation, LGBTQ+ rights, women's (and other individuals with uteri) rights including pay equity and the right to choose what to do with their own bodies.
