Candidate statement:
As a Democrat for over 30 years I believe our party best represents the values of America and supports policies that are good for the average citizen. I have over 40 years of experience as an engineer, tech executive, tech entrepreneur and investor. I have fundraised for and donated to the Democratic Party and had the privilege of serving as an advisor to the Dept of Commerce twice. As a member of the DA organization, I have served on the Immigration policy platform team. While currently based in India, I continue to support various philanthropic causes in the US as my way of giving back for the tremendous hospitality and generosity I received as an immigrant student back in the 1980s. I look forward to representing the DA organization at the Chicago convention to support our party and help represent the DA platform.
