Candidate statement: 

I have been a committed Democrat since the age of 5, when my mother put me to work stuffing envelopes for John Kennedy. After moving to Europe in 2001, I first began work with Democrats Abroad in 2004, signing up voters in Prague in bagel shops and bookstores. Since then, I have served as CC Chair in the Czech Republic, International Treasurer, International Vice Chair and Chair of DA’s Fundraising Committee. Over the years, I have worked hard to elect Democrats and to connect DA with the DNC and other State Democratic Parties. In 2022, I helped secure our largest funding from the DNC and I continue to work with the DNC’s Ethnic Council to make sure we reach out to all Americans.

As a DNC member, I will continue to bring us together with other Democratic Party organizations. And I will make sure that our voices are heard in those organizations – on issues that are of importance to Americans abroad like tax reform to reduce the burden on overseas Americans, ensuring that Medicare is available to all, including those of us who live outside the US, and making voting easier from abroad, as well as issues that are important to all Democrats, including preserving reproductive rights throughout the nation, reducing income inequality, and fighting voter suppression, I am also committed to making our involvement with the DNC transparent by holding regular Town Halls and sending regular messages about the activities of our DNC members.
