Candidate statement:
My name is Ike Mohar and I am applying to represent DA at the 2024 DNC in Chicago. A native born Chicagoan, I have lived in the UK for over 15 years, I have been personally helped by the organization a great deal, first initially when voting in the 2012 elections, 2016 primaries and beyond. Having worked in higher education for international and study abroad institutions for over a decade, I began working with Vote from Abroad to host student voter registration drives for our American students, particularly from the 2016 election and beyond. As my career progressed to become a lecturer, I still incorporate student voter registration drives and talks into my courses wherever possible. With regard to 2024, I am a proud supporter of President Biden and Vice President Harris, and will work as hard a possible to re-elect the most transformative administration of my lifetime.
