| I have lived and worked in 23 countries in 13 geographic regions and sub regions. I know intimately the full range of issues of importance to Democrats Abroad. As a Peace Corps Volunteer in then Apartheid surrounded Lesotho, I witnessed the dark side of American Foreign Policy, which was perceived as supporting the South African government. Subsequently, I spent a summer as a Columbia University human rights intern for the Minority Rights Group in London and protested in front of the South African embassy daily for the release of Nelson Mandela. As a public affairs diplomat, I designed programs to advocate for human rights for all and for respect for all people and all religions. My children are dual nationals. I am known as a positive person with a very serious side and a very fun spirited side. I pledge to represent Democrats Abroad well as a dedicated delegate. |
