Candidate statement:
I will be a passionate, hardworking delegate to re-elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to build on their historic first term. I will attract media and networking attention dressed as “Aunt Sam” throughout the Convention and will promote my experience to Canadian audiences afterward.
I network effectively and have strong media relations skills.
Over 15 years with Democrats Abroad, I’ve collaborated on media relations; promotions/social media; voter outreach (often in costume), registration, and assistance; countless events (including tax); fundraising; resolutions; platform; by-laws; conflict resolution and equity advocacy; nominations and elections and much more.
I took initiative to promote DA at the 2017 Women’s Convention in Detroit and four DNC meetings. As a Co-Founder and current Vice Chair of the Global Progressive Caucus, I am also Canada’s Membership Secretary (and acting Secretary). Since 2017, I have actively represented progressive views in DPCA meetings and networks.
