In recent weeks, ICE violence in the United States — including deadly incidents in Minneapolis — has sparked widespread protests and calls for accountability. Two bystanders, Alex Pretti and Renee Good, were killed during ICE operations. Their deaths have become a catalyst for renewed resistance and demands for justice.
The Munich & Southern Bavaria chapter of Democrats Abroad invites you to join ICE Out — Munich Memorial March, a peaceful gathering that combines remembrance with protest.
We will gather at Geschwister-Scholl-Platz at 13:45, where we will begin with a moment of silence in memory of Alex and Renee, followed by brief remarks. At 14:15, we will step off and march past the White Rose memorial — acknowledging Munich’s history of moral resistance — and continue to a rally across from the U.S. Consulate.
At the consulate, we will hear additional speakers and raise our voices together through chants, calling for accountability, human dignity, and an end to state violence.
All are welcome. Please bring signs and your voice.
