Vice Chair, BC Mainland Chapter

I hold a Master’s in Political Science from SFU and have over 15 years of experience in public engagement, with 7 years in public leadership roles across academic, non-profit, and think tank institutions. My current mission as Vice Chair is to serve as a strategic backup to the Chair, provide leadership as needed, and support the diverse endeavours of our outstanding board members.

I left the U.S. in 2017 in response to the 2016 election and the state of the healthcare industry. In 2021, I joined Democrats Abroad as the Policy Secretary, drawn not only by our mandate but also by the opportunity to build a local community. My role was to keep our members up to date on federal and state policy developments in the U.S., make sure we stayed informed about key policy changes, and support Americans living in Canada in exercising their right to vote and advocating for change from abroad.
