Join Democrats Abroad Morocco for a July 4th BBQ in Marrakech! 🎉☀️

America turns 250 this year, and there's no better place to celebrate than the country that recognized us first. In 1777, Morocco became one of the first nations in the world to formally recognize American independence, and that friendship continues. 🤝

So as we mark our country's semiquincentennial, we're doing it right here, where the story of American diplomacy began.

Bring your festive attire 🇺🇸, a swimsuit for the pool, your Fourth of July spirit, and a dish to share if you're feeling inspired (totally optional, but always welcome). 

All are welcome, so bring your friends and family too! We'll have the grill going, cold drinks, and plenty of room to relax, swim, and toast to 250 years of American independence. 🎇🥂
