We’re seeking volunteers to join the Democrats Abroad Lion City Executive Committee (ExCo)!
Everything that has happened since January 20 makes it clearer than ever—now is the time to stand up, organize and lead the fight for US democracy from abroad. Please consider how you can contribute to the Party to drive success as part of the dedicated leadership team.
The new 2025-27 Executive Committee will be elected at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, to be held on May 29, 2025. Voting will be conducted electronically in advance.

- Chair
- Vice-Chair
- Secretary
- Counsel (to be appointed by incoming Chair)

Up to 3 Members-at-Large.
- In the past, Member-at-Large responsibilities have included, for example Social Media and Communication, and Membership Engagement
- 1 DPCA (Democratic Party Committee Abroad or “DA global”) Voting Representative
- 1 DPCA (Alternate) Non-Voting Representative - the alternate will only be required if for some reason the elected DPCA Voter cannot complete their term.

If you are interested in running for any of these positions or would like to nominate a candidate, please send your name or the nominee’s name to the NEC at [email protected] by May 15, 2025 (SGT).
Candidates must be seconded (which the NEC can do for you if needed) via email to [email protected] , and provide a short bio/candidate statement (300 words or less) no later than May 15, 2025. Information about candidates and their platforms will be published via email in advance of the May AGM.

- May 15: Nominations close
- May 18: NEC issues final ballot
- May 28: Electronic voting ends at noon
- May 29: Annual General Meeting and outgoing ExCo will announce the results.
